Hi friends! It’s definitely been a while, so I wanted to start this post off by giving you guys a little update on life. Over the past few years I dedicated my life to graduating from college and focusing the rest of my time on my two businesses, Emmarie Designs Co. and EMCA Boutique. I started Emmarie Designs Co. in 2020 because I fell in love with graphic design, so I established a small Etsy shop where we create custom designs for every occasion. Here, we design just about anything from tshirts to hats to even jewelry. But then, I wanted more. I had always dreamt of having an online women’s fashion boutique where you could find just about anything you need from clothing to shoes to accessories. So, when my best friend pitched the idea for EMCA Boutique to me, I was all in.

Life was pretty hectic so I had to put my blog on pause so that I could give all of my attention to these businesses. However, this past summer I (finally) graduated with my bachelors and decided it was time to get back to blogging. This blog has always been my passion because I love connecting with all of you and sharing tips and tricks that will help you in business and in your personal life. Since launching my businesses, I have been really into podcasts because they motivate me and I can listen to them wherever I go. Keep reading to find out why these are my favorites!

For The Girls

For The Girls is relatively new but has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts because it brings a different approach to personal development. The show’s badass host, Victoria Alario, focuses on all the things you need to become the best version of yourself. I love that this show is written by a woman for women, more specifically, women in business. There are a lot of motivational podcasts for entrepreneurs, but there are few that are written and directed by women. I think that this concept is amazing because women go through things that men sometimes don’t understand, so the advice that Vic shares is very relatable and helpful. You can listen to For The Girls on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

REAL AF With Andy Frisella

If you’re someone that gets motivated by tough love, this one’s for you. The show’s host is entrepreneur and bestselling author, Andy Frisella. The difference between this podcast and others you may have heard is that this one really calls you out on your BS (excuse my french). But sometimes that’s exactly what you need; at least I know I do. Andy teaches you how to be successful in every area of your life and interviews experts that share insight on what has helped them in their lives. Episodes range from 15 minutes to 2 hours, which I really enjoy because some days you’re crazy busy and can’t dedicate so much time to a podcast. You can listen to REAL AF With Andy Frisella on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

The Joe Rogan Experience

This show has completely changed my mindset on so many things. Joe Rogan talks about just about everything you can think of with different guests including Elon Musk, Dave Chappelle, Robert Downey Jr., and more. The Joe Rogan Experience gives an insight into pretty much every industry and what it takes to be the best of the best. It brings a new and fresh approach to podcasts by having deep, intellectual conversations in a very relaxed environment. The show also has its funny moments, which is why hour long episodes fly by. You can listen to The Joe Rogan Experience on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. You can also watch a visual version on Youtube.

The Cardone Zone

Whether you’re interested in investing into real estate or picking the brains of superstar entrepreneurs, this show is sure to blow you away. Known as the world’s #1 sales trainer, best-selling author and entrepreneur, Grant Cardone gives us the inside scoop on how to 10X our lives. My favorite thing about this show is that you feel like you’re in the room with each guest and part of each conversation. You learn something different on each episode that can help you in your career or in your personal life, which ultimately go hand in hand. You can listen to The Cardone Zone on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

The Ed Mylett Show

When I first got into podcasts, this was one of the very first I listened to and quickly became obsessed. The Ed Mylett Show focuses on the best tips and tricks to slay every area of your life. Ed sits down with young entrepreneurs, athletes, and superstars that teach you something new in every episode. It’s fascinating to dive into the minds of successful people and learn how they overcame the challenges they faced while building their businesses. Although I’ve been listening to this one for years, it’s still one of my go-to’s. You can listen to The Ed Mylett Show on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

The Wolf’s Den with Jordan Belfort

If you’ve ever watched The Wolf of Wall Street, you either wanted to be Jordan Belfort or you were super intimidated by him. Well what if I told you Jordan Belfort actually gives you the inside scoop on his life and interviews the best of the best on this show? Oh yeah, if you’ve never heard an episode, your life is about to change. Jordan Belfort teaches us the importance of always remaining a student by listening to others and seeing what has worked for them in their industry. He also shares his personal experiences, failures, and accomplishments that have led him to where he is today. You can listen to The Wolf’s Den with Jordan Belfort on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

I know this isn’t a long list, but I promise you’ll have your hands full since most of these podcasts have hundreds of episodes! All of the shows I mentioned have really impacted my life and changed my mindset. I try to listen to an episode daily while I’m driving or working out and it completely changes my view on the day. All of a sudden I feel motivated to conquer the day and be the best version of myself. So, if you need a mid-day pick me up or you want a new and fresh approach to personal development, give these podcasts a listen and let me know how you like them! Also comment your favorite podcasts so that I can have a listen!
